ABOUT MIND HARBOUR

Support that starts with
your actual circumstances.

Mind Harbour is a UK-based online service for adults who want a private place to talk about relationships, emotional wellbeing, difficult life situations, alcohol, drug use or recovery.

OUR APPROACH

Clear, practical and led by your goals.

The first task is to understand what is happening and what you would like to be different. Sessions may draw on motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, social behaviour and network therapy, and CBT-informed strategies where they fit.

Your relationships, routines, housing, work, family and wider support can all matter. Looking at those connections can make a plan more realistic than focusing on one problem in isolation.

  • Goals agreed with you
  • No diagnosis required to start a conversation
  • Clear advice when another service is needed

WHAT MIND HARBOUR IS NOT

Honest boundaries are part of safe support.

Mind Harbour is not an emergency service and does not provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, detoxification or medically supervised withdrawal. It currently provides individual relationship support rather than joint couples sessions.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999 in the UK or contact your local emergency service. If a medical or specialist service is more appropriate, that will be discussed clearly.
