BEFORE YOU BOOK

Can I get relationship support on my own?

Yes. Mind Harbour offers individual relationship support. You can talk through communication, boundaries, repeated patterns, family pressure, or a difficult decision without your partner or another person attending. Mind Harbour does not currently provide joint couples sessions.

What an individual session can cover

You can look at what is happening in a relationship, how it affects you, and what you want to do next. The focus may be on preparing for a conversation, setting a boundary, understanding a recurring pattern, or making a decision that feels difficult.

The work is led by your circumstances and goals. It does not depend on diagnosing the other person or promising that a particular relationship outcome will follow.

When another form of help may fit better

If you and a partner want to attend sessions together, look for a service that offers couples therapy. If you are in immediate danger, call 999 in the UK or your local emergency service. Mind Harbour is not an emergency service.

The first assessment lets you explain what you need and decide whether Mind Harbour's individual support is suitable.

This page describes Mind Harbour's service. It does not replace individual medical advice or an assessment by an appropriate clinician.
